Seattle, Wash. — December 28, 2020 — Today, Inyore introduced a new mobile app on the iOS store that brings the power of community engagement directly into employees’ hands. Inyore is a safe and secure platform that enables professionals to have structured anonymous conversations about sensitive workplace topics.. Unlike public review sites or highly visible Slack channels, Inyore provides transparent rules, moderations, and personalized communities for employees and content served in a way that eliminates the fear of retaliation, judgment, or feeling excluded. Employees can share their stories anonymously, providing insight into their actual feelings and experiences.
Now, Inyore’s mobile app empowers employees to have safe and inclusive conversations from their own devices. Users receive push notifications anytime someone else replies to their posts, creates a new community they might be interested in, or posts in a community they have joined. Employees’ usernames automatically change daily to protect their identity, anonymously invite your friends ensuring your identity stays protected, and the new app also enables users to move seamlessly between desktop and mobile and easily access Inyore’s popular Speak Your Truth series, which generates inclusive public conversations around topics that are personally important to employees. Guests have included leaders from Amazon, Twilio, Adobe, F5 Networks, and more.

About Inyore
Inyore was founded in 2018 with the sole purpose of giving employees a voice. CEO Sidney James created the platform after running a personal experiment by applying to dozens of tech companies twice — once (truthfully) as a Black candidate and once as white, using resumes that were otherwise identical. His white alter ego was called back 80% of the time, but as a Black man he was rejected 100% of the time. The experience led to his passion for opening up more conversations about race and discrimination in the workplace — and Inyore was born.
